The Slingshot Javelin is the first wing in our wingfoil collection with a full boom. This boom provides unlimited trimming options to reach the highest possible speeds and upwind performance. The compact shape of the wing makes the wing very playful and forgiving. The new Slingshot DLE 160 dacron which is also used in the newest generation of Slingshot kites saves weight and provides a stiffer frame for higher performance.
The strap in the middle of the boom gives the rider the ability to adjust the tension on the canopy. More tension results in a flatter profile, so higher top-end speed and more upwind performance. Less tension results in a rounder profile for more power and a better low-end.
