The downwinder trips are for more advanced riders, as they involve long distances and variable conditions. But KiteActive also offer camps with more focus on learning, suitable for all levels. Our certified instructors ensure everyone feels confident and safe on the water.

What are the ideal weather conditions for a kitesurfing holiday?

The ideal weather for a kitesurfing holiday is steady winds between 12 and 25 knots (about 14 to 29 mph), with clear skies and warm temperatures. These conditions create optimal conditions for an enjoyable kitesurfing experience!

Which kitesurf material should I bring?

For some trips, Kite Active provides all the kitesurfing gear you’ll need, like kites, boards, and harnesses. For places like Brazil, it’s best to bring your own gear! Just make sure to pack a wetsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap, and a good vibe! If you have your own gear, the Golden rule: bring all the kite sizes you have!!
