This year’s kite trip to Brazil will take place from the 13th of November to the 1st of December 2025, with various trip lengths available. Whether you join us for a shorter adventure or the full experience, we’ll be exploring the stunning Brazilian coastline, guided by the Natural High team.
- Explore Variant (13-21 November): From Cumbuco to Jericoacoara, at a relaxed pace, perfect for those who want to enjoy the stunning coast without rushing.
- Adventurous Variant (20 November-1 December): From Jericoacoara to Atins, offering more adventure and intense kitesurfing, ideal for those looking to challenge themselves.
- Full Route (13 November - 1 December): From Cumbuco to Atins, the ultimate kitesurfing experience, covering the entire coastline for the complete downwinder journey.

Where we stay
During this unforgettable kitesurf adventure you will sleep in comfortable pousadas along the coast. Sufficient lounge areas and lovely rooms to relax after a full day of kiting! We recommend everyone to acclimatize in our kitehouse in Cumbuco 3 days before departure of the downwinder!

When does the downwinder start?
Downwinders can be checked in at our Natural High pousada on the relevant Saturday (~2:00 PM). Here we gather with the entire group, will eat a delicious meal that evening and the next morning (Sunday morning) we leave early with the downwinder to our first overnight location.
For which level is this trip?
The Natural High downwinders are for level 4 (intermediate - advanced kitesurfers). You have done a downwinder at least once and be able to sail upwind independently and perform a self rescue.
What are the wind and weather conditions in November?
Wind conditions: at least 16 knots and often even harder around 20 knots.
The climate in Brazil is great. With a water temperature of 25 degrees and an air temperature of +30 degrees, you can walk around in your bikini or board shorts all day long.
Which kitesurf material should I bring?
The wind always blows at least 16 knots and often even harder around 20 knots. In the afternoon the wind sometimes decreases somewhat, so it is also good to take large sizes with you. the Golden rule: Bring all the kite sizes you have!!
Where does this downwinder end?
Your downwinder ends at the final destination Jericoacoara. Upon arrival, we will all enjoy a victory dinner, dance the night away and enjoy a delicious breakfast the next morning (this overnight stay is included). The next morning our drivers and supervisors will have to drive back to Cumbuco. You can decide for yourself whether you ride back with our crew (free of charge) or stay at the final destination.

Yes no problem, discuss with our team and we will help you with anything you need!
Which flights are recommended?
From Europe KLM is a good choice or FlyTAP. Roughly it will cost you between €800-1200 retour.
Can I sleep with my friend in the same room?
Yes please let us know during your booking and we will fix it!
What are the minimum group size and other requirements for booking a trip?
The minimum group size required for the trip to proceed is 5 persons.
