    Winter wetsuits

    Winter wetsuits

    Brace yourself, winter is coming.

As much as I like to live in denial, winter like’s to slap me awake now and then. With the cold getting more intense, the sun nowhere to be found, it painfully gets clear. It’s that time of the year again.

But like the saying goes, after rain comes sunshine. Well maybe on paper, but winter is ain’t that bad. It’s well survivable with the right gear. Like our brand new collection of winter wetsuits from the sickest brands out there like: Hurley, Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Manera, Roxy, Mystic, Vissla, Rideengine and so on...

Get yourself the best, cause you are the best. And we want you to be warm and comfy while shredding the north sea with us. There is nothing worse than having cold limbs while surfing. With great neoprene you don’t have to be scared getting cold in the water.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself.

Oh by the way, if you need any assistance with the right size wetsuit. Just give us a call of mail us. We’ve got a guy sitting behind a computer 24/7, 365 days a year. Just waiting to help you out.

    Foil surfing

    Foil surfing

Ted has been testing out his all new F-ONE foil, paired with a custom made Appletree foil board. The conditions were outstanding, a perfect day for foil surfing.

As Theodore walks towards the beach, the stoke level gets to it’s highest point. With perfect waves, the sun shining and a F-ONE Foil paired with a Appletree board… Can’t hide a smile under these circumstances. Lots of people don’t know about the great surfing conditions our local beach offers, Ouddorp sure has it’s days. The best part of foil surfing is that it’s allowing you to surf the weaker surf days, even when you practically can’t see a wave forming.

For those who don’t know what foils are:

A foil or a hydrofoil is a lifting surface, that operates in the water. As you craft speed the foil will create an upwards lift which will then lift you up the air. This way you’ll only will be using the foil to slide through the water instead of your board. Which means less resistance. This way you would need.. or well you wouldn’t need as much power pushing you forward to get surfing.

You could keep on reading all the nice things I have to say about foiling. Like how accessible it is for everyone, the amount of fun or that it will let you practically surf everyday. But you could also watch the smile on Ted’s face when he’s flying by in the video.

Oke, this will conclude my words of knowledge.
