After a great first edition, we’re back for round two.
Round the Dam 2026 will take place on May 16 or 17, at the Brouwersdam.
Open to all wingfoilers from the Netherlands and beyond, with different divisions so everyone can take on the challenge.
This event is organized by Natural High and the race team behind "De Ronde om Texel".
About Round the Dam
Round the Dam is an exciting long-distance wingfoil race that brings together wingfoilers from all backgrounds.
The 2026 edition takes place place on May 16 or 17 depending on wind conditions.
- Route along the North Sea side of the Brouwersdam, passing Renesse and Ouddorp.
- Start and finish at Natural High
- Rabbit Start: Riders line up on the beach, gear ready, waiting for the signal. When the vehicle passes, it’s go time!
- Distance: A challenging 35-kilometer route along the North Sea side of the Brouwersdam.
- Speed & Strategy: A perfect mix of speed, tactics, and endurance testing.
- Fun & Community: A great two-day event, bringing wingfoilers together with racing, fun and live music on Saturday 🎉

When will the event take place?
Round the Dam will take place on May 16 or 17, depending on weather conditions. We ask participants to keep both days off. The final race schedule will be announced closer to the event.
What level do I need to participate?
Round the Dam is for experienced wingfoilers who can handle long distances in open water. We recommend that participants be comfortable riding in various wind conditions and be able to perform a sufficient jibe to navigate the course safely.
What is the entry fee?
The entry fee for Round the Dam 2026 is €60 for registrations before 08-05-2026. €80 for registrations after 08-05-2026.
How is the race judged?
Round the Dam is a long-distance race where the ranking is based on time. GPS tracking via STRAVA will be used to verify race times. Any disputes or rule violations will be reviewed by the race organization and jury.
How is my race tracked and recorded?
Every participant must have a GPS-enabled phone or watch that is active throughout the race.
