The North Navigator Freestyle Control System is engineered specifically for 5-line freestyle kites such as the Pulse. It delivers the same refined ergonomics, durability, comfort, and precise tactile control as the standard Navigator, but is fully optimized for unhooked freestyle and wakestyle riding.
Built around a dedicated 5-line setup, this bar includes a freestyle loop and HandlePass leash, giving riders everything they need for secure unhooked tricks and advanced freestyle progression. The system connects intuitively to your kite using industry-standard SK75 Dyneema 1.8mm lines, ensuring direct and reliable feedback in all conditions.
A key feature is the patented Connect V2 Quick Release system, which provides fast and safe release with an intuitive single-action reload. This adds confidence when riding hooked or unhooked, especially during high-impact freestyle maneuvers.
The integrated 5th line system connects to a single bridle point on compatible Modern-C shaped kites, helping maintain kite structure, supporting relaunch, and improving stability during freestyle riding. The blue 5th line also improves visibility when setting up or running lines.
Like the rest of the Navigator range, the Freestyle version uses a 20% stronger and lighter bar construction, combined with an effortless manual unwind system and reduced risk of accidental unhooking or release.
The 38–43cm bar size is tuned for all freestyle and wakestyle kite sizes, giving riders precise control, quick steering response, and maximum confidence when loading for tricks and handle passes.
