Foil Drive Retro-fit Standard Motor Kit
Motor Kit Overview:
The Foil Drive Retro-fit Standard Motor Kit is designed to add Foil Drive electric assistance to an existing foil setup. Combining the Universal Motor Pod, Standard V2 Motor and Two Blade Propeller setup, it provides an accessible entry point for riders who want to add powered assistance without replacing their existing foil equipment.
Universal Motor Pod:
The Universal Motor Pod is designed to fit a wide range of foil mast profiles and allows the motor system to be installed as a retro-fit solution. The motor position can be adjusted on the mast to suit different boards, foil setups and riding styles.
Standard V2 Motor:
The Standard V2 Motor provides the propulsion for assisted foiling and is suited to a wide range of riding disciplines. It can be used for surf, pumping, wing, downwind, wake and flatwater assisted foiling.
Two Blade Propeller:
The kit uses a Two Blade Hub with Standard Two Blade Propellers. This configuration provides the propulsion required for assisted take-offs and general electric foil riding while keeping the motor setup compact.
Motor Cable:
The kit includes a 20cm removable V2 motor cable, positioning the motor at a versatile starting height for different riding disciplines. The cable can be replaced with another length as your setup or riding style changes, allowing the motor height to be adjusted accordingly.
Compatibility:
The Universal Motor Pod is compatible with foil masts from all major brands and accommodates a wide range of mast profiles. The system is designed for riders who want to add Foil Drive to an existing foil setup. It is not compatible with Gen1 Assist or Assist Plus systems.
