The Foil Drive Propeller Guard is an optional accessory designed to provide additional protection around the motor and propeller area. It is intended for riders who want extra bump protection and added peace of mind while using their Foil Drive system.

The guard creates a physical barrier around the spinning propeller, reducing the likelihood of direct contact during use.

Key Features:

  • Injection-moulded protective ring around the propeller
  • Adds bump and contact protection for the motor area
  • Designed as an optional safety accessory (not standard equipment)
  • Simple installation using existing Foil Drive mounting hardware
  • Built for durability in marine environments

Important Notes:

  • This is not a performance upgrade
  • It increases drag and reduces overall efficiency
  • It can reduce speed and runtime depending on conditions
  • Foiling remains an inherently risky sport even with the guard installed

Compatibility:

  • Compatible with Foil Drive systems using a Universal Motor Pod
  • The two-blade propeller system is recommended when using the guard
  • Existing integrated mast systems are generally not compatible with the propeller guard
