Foil Drive FM+ 650 Battery
The Foil Drive FM+ 650 Battery has a 648Wh capacity and 43.2V nominal voltage, providing consistent power and extended runtime for a wide range of electric foiling applications. With a weight of 3.95kg, it offers a balance between battery capacity and overall system weight.
Compatibility:
The FM+ 650 is compatible with the Foil Drive Gen2.5 MAX+ and Fusion systems. When used with the Fusion system, the FM+ Battery Adaptor is required. For MAX+ riders, the FM+ 650 is the highest-capacity battery option available.
Battery Management System:
The integrated Bluetooth Battery Management System provides battery information to the V3 Controller and the Foil Drive App. Riders can monitor the State of Charge, battery health, and other battery information directly through the app.
Construction & Protection:
The FM+ 650 uses a one-piece molded construction that combines the battery and nose cone into a single sealed unit. The battery is rated IP68 and IP69 for water and dust resistance. Internal thermal management helps maintain stable operating temperatures and consistent power delivery during use.
Dimensions & Weight:
The battery measures 460 × 125 × 55mm and weighs 3.95kg. When installed with the MAX+ system, the complete battery and nose cone assembly measures 540 × 125 × 55mm. When installed with the Fusion system, the assembly measures 658 × 125 × 55mm.
Runtime:
Runtime depends on rider weight, foil size, board setup, riding style, conditions, and motor usage. Foil Drive indicates approximately 29 minutes of runtime for intermediate e-foil riding and up to approximately 48 minutes for advanced riding. In surf conditions, typical runtime is approximately 40–50 minutes for intermediate riders and 55–70 minutes for advanced riders.
Charging & Storage:
The FM+ 650 can be charged using the Foil Drive 43V Standard Charger, with a charging time of approximately 85 minutes. A Storage Mode helps maintain battery health during longer periods when the battery is not being used.
