Foil Drive Barnacle Cable Extender

The Foil Drive Barnacle Cable Extender is designed to extend the motor connection when using a Fusion system with compatible aluminium or NoLimitz carbon integrated masts. The Fusion electronics box positions the motor plug further from the mast than the Assist MAX and Slim systems, meaning the standard motor cable may not reach the mast connection.

Connection:

The Barnacle connects directly to the motor plug on the Fusion electronics box and extends the connection closer to the mast. This allows the motor plug from the integrated mast to connect securely to the Fusion system.

Compatibility:

The Barnacle Cable Extender is required when using a Fusion system with aluminium integrated masts and NoLimitz carbon masts. Other carbon masts generally have additional cable stored inside the mast, allowing the cable to be extended without using a Barnacle.

Motor Cable Compatibility:

The Barnacle is intended for setups where the motor cable is integrated into the mast. It is not recommended for external motor cables. When using an external cable, Foil Drive recommends choosing a longer motor cable instead of using a Barnacle Cable Extender.
