Our Compact Wing Concept (CWC) patent continues to prove its effectiveness for large wing surfaces in light winds. This new STRIKE CWC, the fruit of the developments made on our fourth STRIKE, offers ever more efficient planing and pumping. In flight, its perfect balance and unique forward traction ensure exceptional glide. The ALUULA struts reduce the inertia of every maneuver and enhance the feeling of lightness when riding.

Materials

The fourth STRIKE CWC uses HITEX 158g and 178g for the leading edge, providing high durability and performance. ALUULA is strategically placed on the three struts, making the central strut thinner and reducing drag and weight. This improves handling and reduces inertia during maneuvers. The trailing edge uses thicker 66g TECHNOFORCE™/D2 for strength, with the rest of the canopy in 52g TECHNOFORCE™/D2.

The updated CWC design features a straightened central strut for better control and reduced drag. The lower infill deforms less, extending almost to the back. The innovative Load Diffuser is reduced for weight savings, especially during freefly. Dihedral angle has been added to improve stability and keep wingtips out of the water. New leading and trailing edge tensions provide smooth, stable performance and control.

The wing's body has a horizontal cut to optimize weight, and the trailing edge has a vertical cut for ideal traction control. A small radial cut on the back of the strut spreads tensions. The Load Diffuser helps maintain a sleek, efficient profile for ultimate stability, performance, and longevity.

The CWC's new interchangeable handle system allows customization with soft, hybrid, or rigid handles. The CWC's compact design increases wing surface without increasing leading edge length, providing great power with ease of use and a light feel. The compact outline enables incredible start when planing and pumping, making the CWC highly maneuverable and easy to ride.
