Duotone Bearing

The Duotone Bearing Set contains the four stainless steel bearings used inside the Foil Assist motor. These bearings ensure the motor bell rotates smoothly together with the propeller. Over time, bearings can wear out and should be replaced to maintain optimal performance. If your drive unit begins to make unusual noises or no longer runs smoothly, it’s a clear sign the bearings need replacing.

To install new bearings, you’ll need a special bearing tool, available as part of the Foil Assist maintenance tools.

Maintenance tips & warnings

  • Rinse bearings thoroughly with fresh water after every session
