The Slingshot Joystick V2 is purpose built for kite foilers who value lightweight design, simplicity, and precision control. Building on the minimalist concept of the V1, this second-generation bar has been refined with smart upgrades that make foiling even more efficient, intuitive, and comfortable.
Just like its predecessor, the Joystick V2 does not feature a depower cleat. Instead, it uses the Infinite Throw system, allowing you to push the bar up to 50% farther away for an unmatched depower range. This makes it the perfect choice for foilers seeking maximum drift and freedom of movement on the water. New for V2 is the AutoUnswivel system, which automatically untwists your front lines after spins or loops, reducing hassle and keeping your focus on riding. The finger rib has also been redesigned for a more defined grip, giving you better handling without needing to constantly check your bar.
At just 22 mm in diameter, the Joystick V2 remains the thinnest bar in the Slingshot lineup. The upgraded MotoPlush EVA grip delivers extra comfort and traction, even during long sessions. With a weight of only 860 g, the bar feels feather-light yet precise thanks to its improved finish. The lines are the same proven FlyTech SK-99 Dyneema, known for high tensile strength, minimal stretch, and UV resistance. The standard 18 m line set comes with 4 m extensions, giving you the flexibility to adjust your setup to your style or conditions. For safety, the bar is equipped with the ISO-certified SureShot Click In Quick Release, an easy one-hand system that re-engages effortlessly. The Joystick V2 also comes with a compact surf/foil chicken loop, keeping the bar closer to your body for optimal foiling control.
