North sails has a lot of experience when it comes to materials and canopy. Their North-sails advanced textile which is named N-Weave, is 30% lighter and 40% stiffer than the dacron that other brands are using and its also a lot more durable. This N-weave is developed by North Sails engineering and is patented. Only North wings are made with this material.
