The Appletree Zapple S is a compact, high-performance foil board developed for advanced riders, smaller riders, and wave-focused foilers looking to push their performance to the next level. Inspired by the success of the original Zapple and developed alongside the AppleSlice Prone, the Zapple S delivers maximum responsiveness, control, and foil sensitivity in a lightweight performance-focused package.
Designed specifically for foil-assisted surfing and progressive wave riding, the Zapple S features an ultra-thin profile that enhances board feel and creates a direct connection to the foil. Pulled-in rails improve control during high-speed turns and critical maneuvers, while the combination of a flat central rocker and continuous rail rocker generates speed, glide, and agility without sacrificing clearance during aggressive turns.
A full nose with V-entry adds volume where it's needed most, helping smooth out touchdowns, deflect water, and improve prone paddling efficiency. The subtle deck concave enhances comfort and board control, while the integrated Signal Window allows seamless compatibility with Foil Drive systems without requiring foam inserts. Standard footstrap inserts with offset rear and V-front positions allow riders to fine-tune their stance for maximum performance.
