The talon is designed for riders that are only riding with a sliding rope instead of a fixed hook. The metal reduces friction on the sliding rope and because of this the rope will last longer. Also your "chickenloop" is shorter which gives you more depower-range.
This model fits on all Slingshot Sentinel bars.
