Ride Engine Hex Core
Using the Ride Engine Hex Core Harness will make you want nothing else than this.
In 2010, Coleman Buckley and his friend Patrick Rebstock, two Santa Cruz watermen, were done with using kitesurf harnesses which didn`t match the expectations and demands they had from a real kitesurf harness. So they decided to start developing a real kitesurfharness by themselves.
At surfshop Natural-High we think those two men did a great job, Ride Engine harnesses are the beginning of a new standard when we talk about the expectations of a real kitesurfharness!
The Ride Engine HEX Core is a molded hard shell construction which is super stiff and stays like that forever. The super stiff construction makes that this harness doesn’t squeeze the kiter while having a lot of power on the harness, but gives maximum support instead.
The Hex Honeycome Core technology armor is designed around hundreds of precision molds which makes the low-profiled harness fit perfectly around almost every single person. This fit will just lock onto your body and won`t move until you get out of the water and take the Ride Engine Hex Core harness off.
This is the second edition of the Ride Engine Hex Core and Ride Engine has applied some adjustments to the new model:
Ride Engine has replaced the foam for Fusion foam, this foam which is a kind of memory foam, adjusts perfectly around your back for a tighter fit.
- They’ve added a knife pocket.
- An elastic integrated waist belt with a soft neoprene padding on the inside for more comfort while riding the Hex Core Harness without a wetsuit.
- A windsurf spreaderbar is now available, the concept of a hardshell harness has proved to work for windsurfers too.
To make the Ride Engine hardshell harnesses fit to every single persons body. The Hex Core harnesses are now available in XS and XXL and they’ve added a 6” and 12” spreader for a wider range.
The Ride Engine Hex-Core Harness comes without a spreaderbar, scroll down to choose your preferred spreaderbar and make sure you take the right size. In our surfshop we will help you to find the right size.
