After the immense success of the Seaside, Rob wanted to look further. He played around with stretching a Go Fish to a 7 footer, and this worked great. Then he designed a stretched out Seaside, and this worked even better! Rob now travels with two boards in his quiver, a Seaside in 5’4 and a 7 ft Seaside and beyond, and he couldn’t be happier.
The single to double concave creates extra lift and speed down the line. But by making the board not as thick as your regular mid length, you can still engage the wave in a way that’s not typical for a board with this length. Combine it with the signature Machado Quad set up, and you’ll really have a one-board-quiver.
