Firewire’s
Chumlee by Dann Mann.
Dann
changed the way we look at grovelers and how many waves we could be able to
catch if we add some extra volume. The outline mirrors the outline of the Sweet
Potato by Dann from a few years ago, the start of the “potato dynasty”. To
summarize the Chumlee, it’s wide enough to get speed in small, gutless surf.
But thin enough to hold rail in steeper surf.
We know
this is a groveler in the truest sense, but you should feel the performance you
can get out of this board! It’s designed as a quad, because the sides of the
double concave channel a lot of water to the trailers. But try it with a
thruster set with a lot of rake, and you’ll have loads of fun!
