The F-one Bandit X
The F-one Bandit X is already the 10th edition of the F-one Bandit. The Delta C-shape concept that F-one introduced and patented ten years ago is still the basis of the F-one Bandit. The F-one Bandit X is a kite with a very wide array of different flying abilities. One kite for all disciplines, that’s the idea of F-one.
F-one likes to make one thing clear: the Bandit X is not a kite which has a compromising performance because of it’s all-round. The Bandit X actually is a kite which excels in many disciplines. The different podiums where the F-one riders appear can be seen as a prove of this!
What are the improvements and changes in the new Bandit X?
To make the new Bandit X an improved version of the Bandit 9, the R&D team of F-one has been testing over 70 prototypes with more than 200 testing days on the water! The F-one Bandit is expected to be a kite with a lot of different qualities and it manages to reach those expectations with ease.
While designing the new F-one Bandit X , the R&D has mainly been focussing on giving the Bandit a unique traction. A traction which is powerfull but comfortable and easy to control. This resulted in a kite with less lateral pull which takes away pressure both on legs and back to make your sessions less exhausting. The traction of the Bandit X just feels a lot more balanced out. This doen’t mean the F-one Bandit X is less powerfull than the previous one, it still gives you the boosts and power whenever you ask for it!
Another change that is visible is that F-one has made the wingtips of the Bandit X slightly wider and squarer. This results in more manouverability and makes the kite feel lighter into your hands.
The F-one Bandit X immediately gives you a lot of confidence while riding it for the first time, this makes the Bandit suitable for beginning kiters.
On the bigger sizes of the Bandit X F-one is focussing on power while on the smaller sizes F-one tries tot keep the strapless and waveriding abilities in mind.
