After various incredibly popular boards by Tomo, the saga continues. Tomo’s revolutionary board shapes have a newcomer, the Hydroshort. The outline of the board gives you the feeling that you’re kiting on a way smaller board. So instead of getting a bigger kite for lightwind days, you could just get the Hydroshort a size bigger and have some small wave fun!
The signature quad inside double concave gives the board a significant boost in speed, and planes almost instantly. Which makes it a dream to kite upwind. The “torpedo nose” helps landing airs and the bottom of the board generates a lot of pop of the rail. But then looking to the pulled in squash tail, your turns will be very snappy and critical.
