The latest hype in foiling, and we totally get it.
The sport is fairly new and It's current name is wing foiling or surfing.
Video below
When i saw one of these wings for the first time i didn't really know how to respond to it, it kinda looked a bit kooky. Later on, more and more photo's and video's were poppin up on my social feed's. So i took a little more interest in them, give it a fair chance before judging it. And i can honestly say that i was completely wrong about Wing foiling. It may look a bit off at first glance, but this wing foiling is so much fun..
Let me tell you why this will be a big part of the surfing future and your life.
First of all, You'll be able to do this with even less wind than foiling with a kite!
Which means more on the water, which also means more fun in life.
Wing foiling is very accessible to anyone, you don't need any wind- or kitesurf experience to do it. Sick right?
That actually sums up my feelings for wing foiling.
1. Obviously you'll need a swing or a slingwing and a board + foil to match.
2. start off on your knee's, hold the wing with both hands on one side and find your balance.
3. Make speed and use your footwork to stand up.
4. once, you're on your feet. Try to maintain the speed and pump your board for additional speed, which is required to get the foil going.
5. keep your balance and have fun or shred the gnar.
See the video below for the visual "how to get started".

To start the review of the F-ONE linx bar, there are a couple of things I need to put in writing in order to help you through the video. There will be a lot of numbers thrown at your face during the review, you probably won’t be able to soak it all in. Or it’s just my short term memory, which has failed me.
Heya peeps, welcome back to our “weekly” reviews.
Sorry we’ve just been really busy with surf stuff.
To start the review of the F-ONE linx bar, there are a couple of things I need to put in writing in order to help you through the video. There will be a lot of numbers thrown at your face during the review, you probably won’t be able to soak it all in. Or it’s just my short term memory, which has failed me.
Anyhow:
The F-ONE linx bar comes in:
38-45 with 20m, 22m and the standard 24m lines.
45-52 with 22m and the standard 24m lines
Then you have the WTF (Win the freestyle) bar from F-ONE, which is a 5 line bar.
The biggest change is the big-ass freestyle loop and that the bar is a lot smaller in size. F-ONE WTF comes in:
42-35 with standard 24m lines.
Written down it’s actually pretty easy to follow. But my point was going to be:
The F-ONE Linx bar will usually be delivered with 24m lines. But the thing is, when we fly small kite’s. We would like short lines aswel. So we Kindly asked our homies from F-ONE to deliver us some shorter lines. And they did, as you could see in the line options upwards. We’re now able to get you 20 or 22m lines paired with the bar of your choice.
In any case, if you're in need of more information. Give us an mail, phone call or drop by! All these bars are up for testing art our testcenter.
Laters.
The all New Slingshot RPM 2019
The 2019 RPM is a new animal. It’s basically the RPM that kiters have been asking for. And specifically what the dutch market has been asking for. Slingshot has heard you and they’ve adapted. Bringing their most versatile RPM on the market.
To address the needs of the market Slingshot went full bore into updating the RPM as quickly and effectively as possible. Out of the bag the first thing that riders will notice is a new canopy profile. The 2019 RPM has a more C shape when the kite is in the sky. This is a result of new the new bridle, and the desire for more boost. The magic of the 2019 RPM comes from the flyline bridle.
Turning, this is a huge one for the current market and the dutch market as well. Turning speed is great for all kiters and obviously for looping as well. The new bridle gives the RPM more speed than it has ever have, which is great but its also the type of turn that makes it sensational.
Some key features of the Slingshot 2019 RPM:
All these feature’s will ensure the following specs:
Basically a whole new kite with your old trusted RPM feel.
But like a great things in life, try it before you buy it!
The 2019 RPM is up for testing, just give us a call or email and we’ll make sure it’s reserved for you!

It’s time for another one of Ted’s elaborate reviews. In this weeks episode, Appletree returns with a new set of carbon goodness!
As Ted mentioned, you’ve may have seen the Appletree Surfboards factory from our last video. This one is a more elaborate video about the boards. As you’ve noticed I like to use the word elaborate. Since it sounds smart. Oke… Now that we've got that out of the way, we can start talking Appletree business.
Carbon is known for its durability, lightweight and steez. And the guys from Appletree took full advantage of it. Making their boards incredibly strong, probably even bulletproof. As the pro model is named after the Portuguese freestyle surfing dude. Paulino Pereira. It’s very important that the board performs as required in all conditions. The shape and construction give the board just what you need for your strapless freestyle life. Lots of pop, lightweight.. Really it’s so light you will not believe it! And crazy tough. So go for it, pop it as high as you can. I mean really go for it, this board will endure it. You’re knees.. well another story.
We’ve got two models in stock: The Applino and the Appleflap noseless. Both of them are ready for test. The Appleflap noseless comes in three different sizes the: 5’2, 5’3 and the 5’4 and the Applino comes in 5’5 and 5’7.
Anyhow you could continue to keep on reading this blogs with lots of numbers and expensive words like elaborate. Or just see Ted’s elaborated review.
Till the next time mate.
Great conditions, lots of space and a beach filled with water. It just screams to be shredded on. And Jelle was there to deliver, and he did.. Showing what the Nexus has to offer.
In this lagoon episode Jelle shows you the art of flying, showing you why the Nexus brings more joy in your life. The Core Kiteboarding designers developed this state of the art kite by mixing their joy and pride together, with the genes from the phenomenal section 2 and the shape from a GTS which is named: future c-shape. The Nexus future c shape design delivers fast, tight turns and precise control. Imagine yourself carving perfect turns without getting lifted from your board. And so the Nexus has risen to help you shred all the styles. Hitting the waves or freestyling through difficult life matters.
The Nexus has some key features which make it glister more than all the other kites on the water. Like the new CIT fancy acronym behind the kites adjustable handling modes. Kite comes ready to fly in the common settings, but is adjustable to your preferences: Freestyle, wave and allround.
The 3 strut system is another fancy adjustment which make the Nexus a bit lighter, improve drifting, faster handling which is great for wave surfing, strong, light and stable it’s the 3 way perfection. Basically what you’re looking for in a kite. From advanced riders to the newer ones the Nexus got your back.
Of course to hit the lagoon on such speed and power, You’ll need a board which can guarantee stability, crazy pop and traction. The Lieuwe Len10 board was there to be shredded on. Jelle was there to shred. As he flew over me several times I questions life. Do I really need to go that high? Is it worth it? Yes it is. And the Nexus and Lieuwe Len10 combo will help you get there. The sky is the limit…And maybe beyond with this setup and the right attitude.
Don't get me wrong though. All these high end jumps and crazy tricks may sound scary for the new kiter. The Nexus is practically made for every one to be ripped on.
Rather get the feel yourself? We get it, and we happily supply you with the gear for a test run. So hop on in to your car, bike or legwagon and come over for some quality advice.
Stay stoked!

Winter is still on, well, it was. It’s the Netherlands, so you’ll never know when winter comes around and slaps you in the face again.
This week Jelle’s getting you familiar with his Core setup. The XR5, a flashy name for a flashy kite. More than enough to give a boost into your work week. The Core XR5 is known for its power and lift, jumping higher than your responsibilities. The wind was on.. but 9m on.. which made looping a bit hard since the Core XR5 9m is a tat too slow. For looping, Jelle would prefer the Core GTS model.
The bigger core sizes come in a LW ( light wind edition ) which gives it a different shape, made of coretex light instead of coretex tripple and smaller struts. In toddler words; a lighter kite means it’s easier to fly in lighter wind conditions. I actually didn’t know this either, but Jelle got me up to speed.
A one quiver bar, in other words the Core Sensor2+. It’s a perfect one bar option, since you’ll get the ability to change your lines from 18 to 20, 22 or even up to 24m in length. It’s all up to you mate. The Core Sensor2+ bar also comes with some quality lines, tectanium lines… yeah, I know. What the hell is tectanium? I don’t know actually. Apparently it’s less stretchy and way more durable. For more info you should totally google it.
As for a board, the Fusion3 is called the performance allrounder. Heaps of grip, lots of control on high speed, not to stiff but still has lots of pop and rides upwind like crazy…
That’s it for now, Stay tuned and Stoked for the next setup.
CORE
It is time to introduce our newly setup, Jelle’s set of the week or month depends when Jelle’s up for it.
Ever wondered what board, kite or harness fits your desire’s the most? From now on Jelle’s going to do his utterly best to help you on your way.
First to start of with is Jelle’s freestyle setup, his favorite one.
The Slingshot RPM 11 is your allround kite for beginners and experts. From the first meters into the air, from crazy freestyle tricks into your unhooked lifestyle. Also the kite has been tested bombproof, meaning it actually will survive a bomb. Please notice we do not recommend it actually tested bij detonating a bomb.. From side to side in matter of seconds the RPM models acquires the speed and flexibility you need. Another reason to prefer the RPM over you’re current lover. Even though when your mates think its too windy to hit the water the RPM is basically designed to be thrown in the air. It may be even discussed that overpowered it the actual word for great conditions with the RPM
Besides the incredible pop The Slingshot Asylum is bringing to the table, there’s much more to love about the board like the Grip it has to offer. You’ll come in glad finding out the grip it has on the water and you’re life. You know staying on the right path. For it's forgiveness you don't have to ask much, yeah I know.. what am I talking about right? The tips are round which means riding in chop is much easier. I mean who wants to have a board which sprays everything into your face. well, not me. Also not Jelle.
What can I say about the Carbon Ride Engine harness beside that its a piece of art, Beside it's great back support, steezy design and comfort. The Ride Engine crew came up with this way of life and its being improved time by time. Its like the Volvo of harnesses.
The Rip curl Flashbomb wetsuit's super flexibel neopreen material gets you what you need during this cold sessions. From comfy wear to quik dry material. In other words it will keep you warm and steezy during these cold ass days.
Stay stoked peeps.
